Under-desk cable management works best when you separate power, data and device cables before mounting anything.
1. Map the Cable Routes
Place the computer, monitor and charging devices first. Decide which cables need to travel to the wall outlet and which only need to connect nearby devices.
2. Mount the Power Strip
Use an under-desk power-strip mount or cable tray so the bulky power block stays off the floor and remains reachable.
3. Group Similar Cables
Keep power cables together and route USB-C or display cables along a separate path where practical.
4. Use Sleeving for the Final Run
Split sleeving is useful when several cables need to travel in the same direction. Avoid tightly compressing cables at connectors.
5. Leave Service Slack
Keep enough slack to unplug and move your laptop, monitor or charging device without pulling on the connector.
